    Hey fellow alumni and others who read this bulletin board. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and was very happy to hear that a reunion is in the works for next year. You can count me in. It should be a blast from the past so to speak. 1981 was an awesome time to graduate in Sept-Iles. So much has changed since I've lived here in Ontario. I've been here close to 15 years now. I've been working as a fork lift operator/receiver at Lansing Buildall (now Rona Lansing) and am very happy there. I also have a little girl, Carmelia who will turn 7 this July. I'm going to post some pics as soon as I get my new computer. That's all for now.

    Hi. Just have been finding out that more and more of our friends from the graduating years of 78,79,80 etc. are in the vicinity of Montreal and Ottawa. I now have a 60 acrea between Montreal and Ottawa. Send me an e-mail if a few of you or one in particular would like to arrange a BBQ or camp out here over this summer.     Hello all,

    I would just like to inform you that I have changed the email address for this website from qehs-alumni@total.net to qehs-alumni@total.net. As for the URL or website address, nothing has changed. The main reason was to try to cut down on the amount of spam I was receiving because of the old email address and also because it better fits for the website to have the word alumni in the address. I will keep the old address active for a few weeks the time it takes me to make the modifications on the website.

    Hey Guys,

    Not sure if anyone has thought of this... but having received a few emails from Steve Geronazzo, (I gather he's Queenie's web master) prompted me to browse our "Graduates" page. What I noticed is that a great deal of us have ended up in Ottawa.

    I was thinking maybe it would be fun if we all met some place for a drink and a few laughs. Grace O'Malley's on 1151 Ogilvie Rd is nice. If I get enough responses I'll set something up. I know how busy everyone is with work, kids, etc... so it might be helpful if you all sent availability dates.

    p.s. If any of you are in touch with anyone else in the area pass this along, doesn't necessarily have to be limited to 82 grads.

    - As you may have noticed the submit forms have not been working for a while now. The internet provider has made some changes to their servers and I have not been able to get the forms to work. After trying a few things, I was able to configure the guestbook to be used as a submit form. As of today, you can use the Submit, Bulletin Board, and Fund Raising forms. From there, I will transfer the information onto the appropriate page.

    - A few people have asked me about an upcoming reunion. As of today there hasn't been any planning for a reunion. I think we should organize a reunion in 2005. If I'm not mistaken the last one was in 1985. If anyone is interested in helping me organize it, please email me.
    - For those who would like to organize "mini" reunions for just a single year ei. 1960, it would be my pleasure to post messages onto the Bulletin Board page.

    I'd like to wish you all a happy and warm holiday season, especially those of you still in the great white north! For those who don't know yet, Dave Marchand and Yvette had a baby girl named Amelie on Dec 7th, the Marshalls or doing fine, oh, and Pat (sorry dude, the secrets'out!)... Pat and Tracy had a baby Jan 19 !!!!
