Lord Jesus,
Sometimes I get discouraged
with all the evil in the world.
And I can't do anything about it;
And on top of everything else - I don't
know where God is in the world.
But what makes all the difference in
the world at times like this is that:
Sometimes I feel God's Spirit in me.
I become Peaceful and I'm able to act
peacefully with those around me.
Lord Jesus, at these times, rare though
they be, I can love my enemies. I can love
my neighbour. I can pray for those who
persecute me.
So I make this prayer Lord Jesus: Asking
You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that
I might lead the kind of Christian life
You want me to live. Fill me with Your
Peace, so that being Peace-Full I might
be a Peacemaker in my little section
of the world.
I make this Prayer in the Precious and
Holy Name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
