BUHUTH FI WAQUI' UMMATINA

THE CONTENTS

I have divided " Volume I " into an introduction, and 8 chapters.

INTRODUCTION:
It looks like a separate entity, it deals with a look at the state of the world during the last 3 decades; namely after the 1967 war in the Middle-East.

It focuses on the gap between the intellectual levels of arab and muslim individuals and their counterparts from other nations.

It ends with serious questions about the causes of the present state of mind of our individuals, and followed by other questions that aim to identify those who were responsible for this tragedy.

Since the title of the book states clearly in the last part: "Minal Madi Walhader" the reader would expect those buhuth to cover our past over a period of 1400 years as well.

It is important to emphasize here, that the introduction constitutes the pivot and the driving engine behind all subjects throughout the book.

8 CHAPTERS:
There is a variety of subjects treated in 8 chapters, were we find the individual arab or muslim as being the common denominator. They discuss the methods of complex influences practiced on him (the individual of course) over centuries.

Chapter 1 discusses "Akle" which means "Reason" as Qur'an has instructed everyone to use his/her "Reason", and to put it in practice during his/her entire life - and this, without any relaxation no matter how short or brief it can be - this is, perhaps, the answer to those who wonder why alcohol is forbidden in islam.

Also, It makes references to "Akle" in "Sunna"(the teaching and sayings of the prophet of Islam Mohamed. pbuh).

I have explained and proved - perhaps to the surprise of many thinkers - that using "Reason" has always been there, regardless of the degree of success achieved. It is interesting to notice that the variable degrees of a "just and healthy thinking" have confused most thinkers and led them to use the terms we all know: "Rational and Irrational".

Therefore, I would characterize any decision made by a sane person as "Rational"always and without any exception.

This point I made in this chapter is extremely important as you can see, and it deserves a thorough and deep exploration by every researcher.

Then, the reader can see how some philosophers and scholars have restricted the use of "Akle" in some crucial issues. In fact, they have deprived the indivual from "Ilm" (knowledge) and consequently brought the nation to the present desperate and alarming situation..

Chapter 2 focuses on the importance of "Ilm" (knowledge) and " Ulamaa' " (scholars) then the " Role of Ulamaa' ", and lastly "Ulamaa' between theory and practice".

Chapter 3 discusses the beginning of the revelation of Qur'an, also it enlightens the reader on the conditions of prophets and their lengthy initiation before they qualify to receive God's Revelations.

It focuses on some of the unacceptable alleged stories as told, blindly and traditionally, by scholars for centuries.

Chapter 4 this chapter examines some false interpretations of Qur'an, due to ignorance by some moufassirines (interpreters) or because of a very strange and bizarre perception on their part.

Chapter 5 looks at some false and non-factual sayings and traditions attributed to the prophet (pbuh) which should be re-examined.

This kind of story telling has poisend the minds of our people and prevented them from a straight and clear thinking.

Yet, they are still tolerated by most scholars and became a major cause and barrier that sparked the present black-out in the minds of most people.

Chapter 6 this is a very critical subject, it is about "AL-IKHTILAF WAL-FOURKAH"(diversion and division).

We discuss here the Qur'anic commandments for unity and God's praise and blessing of the Prophet (pbuh) for his efforts to unite his people.

Also, we discuss the importance of unity as the ultimate goal of all nations. We see how some false interpretations or even lies became the essence of thinking by muslims everywhere.

To the surprise of everyone, we find ourselves the only people on earth to glorify division and be satisfied with the breach of God's commandments, and the misunderstanding of the true teaching of His prophet.

Chapter 7 tries to show how some historians and scholars, in order to credit and glorify some ancesters, were able to contradict the logical and chronological passage of time.

Chapter 8 certifies the authenticity of the islamic history and uncovers the bad perception and some of the false and bias readings of historic events by some historians and scholars, who have deceived generations and led them into a misconception of the past, and left them confused when facing the present, the same can be foreseen for the future.

This was a very brief exposure of "Volume I", I hope I gave you a good idea about my scientific and objective researches which are absolutely necessary to the one who wishes to understand what is going on with this large nation. !

I must tell you here that the book is extremely concentrated and rich of ideas, which are related to each other and interdependent throughout the book.

I urge those of you who read arabic to study these researches which should not be ignored by the intellectuals.
